Friends of Texana/Genealogy Support Group
The Friends of Texana/Genealogy is a departmental support group structured within the larger Friends of the San Antonio Public Library. The group meets four times a year for programs on local history or genealogy. Proceeds of their annual book sale are used to purchase materials or equipment not provided for in the Library budget.
Donations of single books or complete collections are welcomed with the understanding that they will be used to the Librarys best advantage. They may be added to the collection if they meet selection criteria or disposed of according to standard Library policy.
